His interest in music was noticed at a very young age, and he began training accordingly. With the support of many accomplished musicians in the field, he brought his ability to its present level.

He turned that passion into a career and concentrated on the drum kit in particular. He has played drums and percussion professionally since 2001. After forming his own band with fellow musicians in 2002, he performed pop and rock concerts of both Turkish and international repertoire in many cities across Türkiye and in several European countries, working on the organisation of those concerts as well as playing them.

From 2008 onwards he accompanied various artists on television channels and on stages at home and abroad. Alongside concerts he has also played on other artists' album recordings. He works professionally in stage organisation and accompanies many events.

Believing that music holds an important place in life, he completed the training required for rhythm therapy. He now works as a rhythm therapist across a number of institutions. He also works with students who have dyslexia, attention difficulties or hyperactivity, aiming to support their physical and mental development.

He serves as İstanbul Provincial Coordinator at the Cultural Communication Foundation, affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Beyond this he teaches percussion to all age groups, giving one-to-one tuition both in schools and on various courses.

Since he began teaching he has felt that Türkiye needed a drum method book, and he wrote this one as the accumulation of his years of training and practice.
